Every bit of Christian teaching can be summed up in three words: God is love. That is the simple truth that teaches tolerance of same-sex unions.

Alleluia Alleluia

The Church of the Good Shepherd has called the Rev. Cathy Dempesy to be their new rector.   The Good Shepherd, as it’s known in the Parkside community of Buffalo, has been without a rector since the departure of the Rev. David Selzer nearly two years ago and has since lost a good deal of it’s congregation, mostly families with children.   I truly believe Mother Dempesy will bring new life to this  church and in relatively short order.   She’s a perfect fit.    Congratulations Church of the Good Shepherd for taking the time to find someone so worthy of serving your congregation and God be with you, Cathy Dempesy,  as you begin your tenure at Good Shepherd.          Alleluia and Amen

BCP Daily Office Readings

In response to Robert’s post in the Forum, I’ve added a link to the BCP Daily Office in the Reference Links. It’s over there in the right hand column. It’s a great site and it allows you to take a few moments each day to reflect.

The link will take you to the BCP Home Page. It’s pretty much self explanatory after that.

Thanks Robert
