They are Peter, Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, Judas Iscariot and Matthias. The Apostles’ Creed is a statement of faith based on their teachings. They were sent out by Jesus to preach the gospel and carry out his mission.
